As a total solutions provider Dobson’s does a wide range of print, design and logistics from marketing to stationery, point of sale devices and packaging.

In each area of Dobson’s we are conscious of the environment and aim to reduce our impact. We have invested heavily in a range of technologies which assists us in reducing energy, paper, chemical and discharge wastage.

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)
Certified “chain of custody” that meets standards that are socially, economically and environmentally viable for the management of the world’s forests.

Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF)
Traditionally, chlorine has been used to bleach paper to make it white.

ECF pulps are bleached with a derivative of chlorine which virtually eliminates toxic emissions.

Carbon neutral
Eliminating green house gases through

- reduced energy consumption

- 'green' or alternative energy use

- remaining emissions are offset through purchasing carbon credits

Recycled
Paper that is reused after its original manufacture.

Genuine recycled papers contain a minimum of 20-30% post consumer waste.

EMAS and ISO 14001
Regulatory bodies that audit and develop international environmental standards in the printing industry.
